Naushad Parpia

Naushad Parpia is a Brooklyn-based writer and storyteller whose work explores the relationship between memory and place. He writes about neighborhood storefronts, inherited recipes, public transportation, family sayings, forgotten photographs, and the objects people keep when their lives change. Through his observations of everyday life in New York, he captures the unique character of its neighborhoods and the stories hidden within ordinary routines. His voice is reflective but accessible, combining close observation with quiet humor. Rather than presenting himself as an expert, he approaches each subject as a curious participant, interested in the emotional history hidden inside ordinary routines.
